These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Pentaplus Printers Pvt Ltd's website, located at www.pentaplus.co.in.

Definitions

"Client", "You" and "Your" refers to you, the person accessing this website and complying with the Company's terms and conditions. "The Company", "Ourselves", "We", "Our" and "Us" refers to Pentaplus Printers Pvt Ltd. "Party", "Parties" or "Us" refers to both the Client and ourselves.

Quotations and Estimates

All quotations issued by Pentaplus Printers Pvt Ltd are estimates based on the specification supplied by the Client at the time of enquiry — quantity, flat or finished size, substrate and grammage, number of colours, and the finishing operations requested. A quotation is valid for thirty (30) days from its date of issue unless stated otherwise on the quotation itself.

Where the specification supplied at enquiry differs from the artwork or instructions subsequently received, the Company reserves the right to re-quote before commencing work. Paper and board prices are subject to mill revision; the Company will notify the Client in writing of any consequent change before production begins.

Artwork and Proofs

  • Artwork should be supplied as print-ready PDF/X with 3 mm bleed, fonts embedded or outlined, images at 300 dpi and colour specified in CMYK.
  • The Client warrants that they own, or are licensed to use, all copy, images, trademarks and other material supplied for reproduction, and indemnifies the Company against any claim arising from its reproduction.
  • A digital contract proof is supplied for approval before plates are imaged. The signed proof is the standard against which the printed job is measured. Errors present in an approved proof and reproduced faithfully in the print run are not grounds for rejection.
  • Where the Client waives proofing to save time, the Company accepts no liability for content, colour or imposition errors that a proof would have revealed.
  • Alterations requested after approval are chargeable, and will move the agreed delivery date.

Colour

Printed colour is held to the approved contract proof under a colour-managed workflow and verified by spectrophotometric measurement. A commercially reasonable variation between the proof and the printed sheet, and between one printed sheet and another, is inherent to offset lithography and does not constitute a defect. Where a brand colour must be matched to a defined tolerance, that tolerance must be stated at the time of enquiry so it can be quoted and measured.

Substrate has a material effect on appearance. A colour approved on one board will not reproduce identically on another, and the Company cannot guarantee a match across a substrate change requested after approval.

Quantity Tolerance

Owing to unavoidable make-ready and running waste, the Company reserves the right to deliver, and to invoice, up to 10% over or under the ordered quantity. Where an exact quantity is essential, this must be stated at the time of order so that it can be quoted and produced accordingly.

Delivery and Schedules

Delivery dates are given in good faith and calculated from the date of proof approval, not from the date of enquiry or order. The Company is not liable for delay caused by late or incomplete artwork, delayed approvals, changes to specification, substrate unavailability, or events outside its reasonable control.

Risk in the goods passes to the Client on delivery. Title in the goods remains with the Company until payment has been received in full.

Claims

Any claim relating to quality, quantity or damage must be notified in writing within seven (7) days of delivery, with the affected goods retained for inspection. The Company's liability for a defective job is limited, at its option, to reprinting the defective work or to a credit not exceeding the invoiced value of that work. The Company is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of a launch window, or the cost of product filled into defective packaging.

Storage of Materials

Plates, dies, artwork files and other production materials remain the property of the Company unless purchased separately. The Company will retain production files for a reasonable period to enable reprints, but gives no undertaking to archive them indefinitely.
