The outer is the part of the pack that meets the supply chain. Board is checked at goods-in on the bursting strength and GSM testers, so the box that is quoted is the box that survives a stacked pallet.

Litho-laminated print gives a shipper the same shelf quality as the carton inside it, for retail-ready display outers.
